About Soldered Electronics

Soldered Electronics is a fast-growing European hardware company based in Osijek, Croatia. We design, engineer and manufacture electronics used by thousands of makers, engineers and companies worldwide (customers in 80+ countries). Our portfolio includes Arduino-compatible boards, Smart Home hardware, sensors, the Inkplate e-paper family, and custom hardware developed and manufactured for global clients. The best part? We build everything ourselves. From product design and firmware to SMT assembly and testing, it's all under one roof in Osijek, Croatia. That gives us quality, speed and flexibility, and a clear competitive advantage. We work in three business units: • Soldered for Makers (SFM) - maker, engineering and hobbyists products and e-paper boards. • Soldered Manufacturing (SM) - electronics manufacturing for in-house and EMS clients. • Soldered Engineering (SE) - high-value custom hardware development focused on e-paper technologies. Our culture is high-expectation and no nonsense: smart people, clear communication, ownership, data, and consistency. You will fit here if you want a place where your work is visible, decisions move fast, and engineering actually matters.

About Soldered Electronics

Soldered Electronics is a European hardware company based in Osijek, Croatia. We design, engineer, and manufacture electronics shipped to customers and distributors in 85+ countries. Everything we build (product design, firmware, SMT assembly, testing, fulfillment) is done in-house, under one roof.

We operate three business units:

  • Soldered for Makers (SFM): boards, sensors, and the Inkplate e-paper family, sold to makers, engineers, and hobbyists.

  • Soldered Manufacturing (SM): electronics manufacturing for in-house and EMS clients.

  • Soldered Engineering (SE): custom hardware development, with a focus on e-paper technology.

We work with high standards, minimal bureaucracy, and no micromanagement. Decisions move fast, ownership is real, and the work is visible. People who want quiet routine will not enjoy it here. People who want responsibility and want to see their work ship will.

Why we keep open applications

Experienced people in the electronics industry are rare in our region, so when we find someone strong, we would rather know about them before we have a posted role than after. That said, industry experience is a plus, not a requirement. A strong project manager, operator, or commercial hire from another field can do excellent work here. What matters more is how you think, how you take ownership, and what you have actually built or delivered.

We are most interested in hearing from:

  • Experienced engineers (hardware, firmware, electronics design, manufacturing, test)

  • Sales and commercial people, ideally with technical or B2B products

  • Anyone with a meaningful background in the electronics industry, in any function

  • Anyone else with a strong track record of delivering in their field, even if it is outside our industry

If your background is none of these and you still believe you would add value, make that case clearly in your application rather than leaving us to guess.

What to send

A standard CV is fine, but tell us specifically:

  • What you have built, shipped, or sold

  • What kind of role or problem (ownership) would you want to own here

Be specific as it gets.

What happens next

Your application is reviewed by our CEO together with HR. We aim to respond within a few weeks. If there is a potential fit, we will reach out to talk, even if we do not have a posted role at that moment. If there is not, we will keep your application on file and may come back to it when something opens up.
