About Soldered Electronics

Soldered Electronics is a fast-growing European hardware company based in Osijek, Croatia. We design, engineer and manufacture electronics used by thousands of makers, engineers and companies worldwide (customers in 80+ countries). Our portfolio includes Arduino-compatible boards, Smart Home hardware, sensors, the Inkplate e-paper family, and custom hardware developed and manufactured for global clients. The best part? We build everything ourselves. From product design and firmware to SMT assembly and testing, it's all under one roof in Osijek, Croatia. That gives us quality, speed and flexibility, and a clear competitive advantage. We work in three business units: • Soldered for Makers (SFM) - maker, engineering and hobbyists products and e-paper boards. • Soldered Manufacturing (SM) - electronics manufacturing for in-house and EMS clients. • Soldered Engineering (SE) - high-value custom hardware development focused on e-paper technologies. Our culture is high-expectation and no nonsense: smart people, clear communication, ownership, data, and consistency. You will fit here if you want a place where your work is visible, decisions move fast, and engineering actually matters.

Job overview

The Soldered Project Manager is the single owner of all company deadlines across Soldered Electronics. This role is accountable for planning, coordination, and delivery of all major projects company-wide: internal and external engineering development, in-house and external manufacturing projects, and selected company-wide projects.

This is not a coordination role. You own outcomes. It's not for the faint-hearted, but it is very rewarding. You must ensure that priorities are clear, timelines are realistic and enforced, trade-offs are explicit, and commitments are met across teams. You will run multiple parallel projects end-to-end, anticipate conflicts before they surface, and decisively resolve or escalate them to keep the company moving forward.

Key responsibilities

  • Full ownership of all company deliverables ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timelines and priorities

  • Removing blockers and enforcing priorities to protect delivery commitments

  • Reprioritizing work and forcing decisions when deadlines are at risk

KPIs

The following KPIs define success for this role. We don’t expect them on day one, but these are the targets you will be measured against:

  • [Deadline predictability] At least 90% of projects delivered within agreed timelines

  • [Visibility] Clear, up-to-date status and risk visibility for all active projects at any time

  • [Satisfaction] Employee & Client satisfaction above the defined internal threshold

You are

  • An experienced Project Manager with at least 5 years of hands-on project results ownership

  • Comfortable being fully accountable for outcomes and overriding priorities when needed

  • Be ready to be physically present in Osijek, including the manufacturing environment

  • Capable of quickly making decisions, even with insufficient data

  • Direct communicator who handles conflict and makes unpopular decisions

  • Great with spoken and written English

We are

  • A growing company with lean environment where you learn fast through real projects

  • A team with high standards, minimal bureaucracy, and zero micromanagement

  • A place where strong performers advance quickly

What we offer

Besides the benefits that every modern company offers, we also offer:

  • Full autonomy and trust to deliver without micromanagement while working closely with the management

  • A culture focused on growth, feedback, and mutual improvement

  • Work in a high-performing, high-expectation environment

  • 30 days of annual leave as standard

  • Work with small teams of young, motivated and helpful people
