About Soldered Electronics

Soldered Electronics is a fast-growing European hardware company based in Osijek, Croatia. We design, engineer and manufacture electronics used by thousands of makers, engineers and companies worldwide (customers in 80+ countries). Our portfolio includes Arduino-compatible boards, Smart Home hardware, sensors, the Inkplate e-paper family, and custom hardware developed and manufactured for global clients. The best part? We build everything ourselves. From product design and firmware to SMT assembly and testing, it's all under one roof in Osijek, Croatia. That gives us quality, speed and flexibility, and a clear competitive advantage. We work in three business units: • Soldered for Makers (SFM) - maker, engineering and hobbyists products and e-paper boards. • Soldered Manufacturing (SM) - electronics manufacturing for in-house and EMS clients. • Soldered Engineering (SE) - high-value custom hardware development focused on e-paper technologies. Our culture is high-expectation and no nonsense: smart people, clear communication, ownership, data, and consistency. You will fit here if you want a place where your work is visible, decisions move fast, and engineering actually matters.

We are looking for ambitious students and early-career people who want to work on real products with real responsibilities.

Soldered Electronics designs, builds, and ships hardware to customers in 85+ countries. Everything happens under one roof in Osijek: product design, firmware, manufacturing, marketing, and sales. If you join us, you work on things that ship.

Who we want to hear from

We are open to students and recent graduates with a real interest and some demonstrable skill in one of these areas:

  • Hardware engineering: PCB design, schematic capture, prototyping, lab work, anything that shows you have actually built something

  • Firmware and embedded software: C/C++, microcontrollers, Arduino/ESP32, RTOS, drivers, anything beyond classroom assignments

  • Content creation: technical writing, video, photography, tutorials, documentation; the ability to explain a product clearly

  • Marketing: social media, SEO, copywriting, email, paid campaigns, community building

  • Sales: B2B outreach, distributor management, customer support with a commercial angle

This is crucial: You do need to have done something outside of coursework, a side project, been part of a hackathon, a personal blog, contributions to open source, freelance work, anything that shows you act on your interests rather than just having them.

What you get

  • Real work on real products from week one

  • A small team that will teach you fast

  • Flexibility around your study schedule

  • A clear path to a full-time role if the work is good

What you do not get

  • A structured internship program with handholding

  • A guaranteed full-time offer at the end. We hire based on what you deliver
